At-Tin

Translation By
Dr. Mustafa Khattab
95:1
By the fig
and the olive
(1)

By the fig and the olive ˹of Jerusalem˺,
95:2
And (the) Mount
Sinai
(2)

and Mount Sinai,
95:3
And this
[the] city
[the] secure
(3)

and this secure city ˹of Mecca˺!1
95:4
Indeed
We created
man
in
(the) best
mould
(4)

Indeed, We created humans in the best form.
95:5
Then
We returned him
(to the) lowest
(of the) low
(5)

But We will reduce them to the lowest of the low ˹in Hell˺,
95:6
Except
those who
believe
and do
righteous deeds
then for them
(is a) reward
never
ending
(6)

except those who believe and do good—they will have a never-ending reward.
95:7
Then what
causes you to deny
after (this)
the judgment
(7)

Now, what makes you deny the ˹final˺ Judgment?
95:8
Is not
Allah
(the) Most Just
(of) the Judges
(8)

Is Allah not the most just of all judges?
